The AICP Ethics Committee presents seven case studies based on current and illustrative planning ethics topics from the previous year.
Get a short introduction to the AICP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, then explore the ethics scenarios and examine the appropriate actions that each planner should have taken. Each scenario is tied to relevant principles and rules of conduct from the AICP Ethics Code as well as APA's "Ethical Principles in Planning."
Topics include confidential and inaccurate information, gifts, political donations, sexual harassment, taking credit, and unlawful discrimination.
