MORE COURSE DETAILS

This keynote session will focus on the intersection of the future of transportation and the changes accelerated by the pandemic. A former mayor, U.S. Secretary of Transportation, and mobility company executive, Anthony Foxx, will discuss critical issues for planning, including shifting to an equity-driven and people-centered approach, adapting to new mobility technologies, understanding the role of federal policy and the opportunities in the pending transportation reauthorization, and addressing the impacts of the pandemic on transportation. The session will also discuss the need for local leadership and the potential for planners as communities and the nation focus on recovery and reinvention.
