COVID-19 has brought on a great “bicycle renaissance.” While there have been ample anecdotal stories and qualitative data on the increase in bicycling in the U.S., there’s been a lack of data to actually measure this increase. Get a data-driven analysis, identifying overall gains and losses since the pandemic hit. Find out if these trips replaced transit trips, and whether they replaced commutes or were recreational — by race, income, and place type to determine how equitably the trips were distributed.
