Connecting a Sustainable Paradise: How “Temporary Paradise?” Endures

In the second part of this 2-part session, learn how to create enduring and inspirational planning documents. Panelists share compelling examples of how to convey ideas through poetic voice and compelling imagery. Through reflection on the enduring vision plan for San Diego/Tijuana, “Temporary Paradise”, learn how to bring your plans to life.

This session will highlight the power of how a visionary, disruptive, “unofficial/official” plan can impact and reshape a binational region and help move the region toward greater sustainability, livability, and equity. This session will allow for a healthy discussion and audience participation, which will include many of the region’s planning professionals, invited through social media and other means.
