Course Details
This session will draw out innovative approaches to teaching international planning and identify the key skills future planners will need to address the global challenges the world is currently facing. It begins with an exploration of the global agenda for planning and how it is shaping international planning education and practice. This is followed by specific examples of how planning education is changing to address trans-national perspectives and associated challenges. These approaches are then grounded by a discussion of how local planning practice is developing innovative ways to engage with the global planning agenda.
