Accelerating Integrated Mobility Innovation
Course Details
FTA's Integrated Mobility Innovation (IMI) and Accelerating Innovative Mobility (AIM) provide a venue where mobility concepts and strategies, supported through local partnerships, are demonstrated in real-world settings. This course will discuss emerging lessons and practices from 49 demonstrations.
- Enhancing public sector preparedness for mobility innovation policy and planning;
- Assisting APA members to develop the ability to integrate on-demand mobility in their communities;
- Presenting the technical and institutional feasibility of innovative public-private partnership models, and best practices that emerged from the demonstrations;
- Discussing the impacts of mobility demonstrations on travelers, communities, and public transit agencies; and
- Sharing best practices and policies that can support community adoption of on-demand mobility.
