Learn about innovative public outreach strategies, such as a rock-and-roll style "listening tour" to reach historically underrepresented populations, social-pinpoint interactive mapping, and a website to engage younger residents.

Find out how to establish a strong equity lens and community vision statement early in the process to ensure all policies in the adopted plan are fair and equitable. Focus on novel approaches to establishing strong housing policy goals through community education by dispelling fears about density, multi-family zoning, accessory dwelling units, clustering, adaptive reuse, and transit-oriented development.
