This course will introduce you to general aspects of how municipalities raise money, spend money, and develop budgets to meet the infrastructure and operations needs of the community. Through interactive exercises and an extended example of municipal planning in action, you will gain an awareness for the considerations that municipalities make when assessing the funding of projects like the ones you as a planner develop.
