Michelle Eichinger
Michelle Eichinger, MS, MPA, is President of Planning4Health Solutions, LLC, a public health consulting firm that integrates health data in community planning, design, and public policy. She has over 10 years of experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation; grant writing; policy development and analysis as they relates to chronic disease prevention and health promotion. She is recognized for her skills in public speaking, group facilitation and capacity building. Most recently, she assisted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in providing subject matter expertise in integrating public health in land use planning and policy. Prior to that, Michelle worked with the State of Delaware Division of Public Health in various leadership capacities, including Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity Prevention. She also coordinated the state’s Healthy Communities Program and worked closely with the State’s Planning Office, Department of Transportation, Division of Parks and Recreation and Economic Development Office in reviewing comprehensive plans and proposed development site plans throughout the state. Michelle has presented to local, state, and national meetings, including the American Planning Association National Meeting, Georgia Planning Association annual meeting, CDC’s Communities Putting Prevention to Work annual meeting, and the Delaware Recreation and Parks Society annual meeting. Michelle earned her Master of Science in Health Promotion with concentrations in Lifespan Health and Disabilities, as well as a Master in Public Administration with concentrations in Health Policy and Organizational Leadership.
