Chris Steins is a digital strategist and entrepreneur focused on the intersection of planning and technology. He is the CEO of Urban Insight, a digital agency, and has participated in all aspects information systems life cycle development, including user requirements, project management, system design, development and operations. He is the founder of Planetizen and Planetizen Courses, the world's most-visited independent urban planning network. He is also an adjunct faculty at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, former chair of the American Planning Association’s Technology Division, and a contributing author to the forthcoming Planner's Use of Information (Routledge 2019).
