Kim Lundgren and the KLA Team developed and led implementation of the equitable engagement process this session is highlighting in both cities. Kim is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kim Lundgren Associates, Inc. (KLA), a woman-owned, benefits corporation that delivers solutions to create sustainable communities, including the KLA Community Dashboard. As an early municipal sustainability pioneer, Kim developed the first climate action plan in Massachusetts and one of the first municipal climate adaptation plans in the country. Kim has spent the last 18 years working with local governments around the country to design, secure funding for, and implement sustainability programs focused on climate change adaptation and mitigation. KLA's clients have included the cities of Boston, MA; Cambridge, MA; Columbia, MO; Encinitas, CA; Indianapolis, IN; New Bedford, MA; Northampton, MA; Portland, ME; San Antonio, TX; and West Palm Beach, FL.
