Bethany Bezak
Bethany Bezak, Green Infrastructure Manager, DC Water, manages DC Water's Green Infrastructure implementation as part of the DC Clean Rivers Project. Under her leadership, the $2.6 billion program reduces Combined Sewer Overflows to the District of Columbia's waterbodies. She is responsible for the planning and siting, engineering design, and construction oversight of Green Infrastructure projects and manages contract schedules and budgets. Ms. Bezak has presented at local and national conferences on topics including: rainwater harvesting, Green Infrastructure and Low Impact Development, LEED and sustainable construction practices, and stream restoration. She is well-versed in sustainable site design, LEED certification, and green building practices.
