Rosanna Tuason-Fores is the advisor
to the One World Filter Corp. Board and brings experience and expertise in
business enterprise and sustainability initiatives. Her management skills range
from setting up ventures in call centers (now the biggest industry employer in
the Philippines) to running agricultural conglomerates (with operations in
banana, coconut, food processing, port operations). In 2018, Rosanna was featured by London-based
Earth Security Group for her
pioneering efforts in sustainable development in eco-system
based
climate adaptation. Aside from
her role as the CEO
of HIJO Resources, she is also
President of the Tuason
Development Foundation, which received support from USAID to find and fund
entrepreneurs in Mindanao. She also served two terms as President of the
Tourism Congress of the Philippines; the private-sector entity mandated by law to work with the Philippine
government to develop the tourism industry.
A
Management graduate of Santa Clara University, Rosanna returned to the
Philippines determined to make a difference in both business and
nation-building. She involved herself in agribusiness and became VP for
Marketing at Blue Bar Coconut. She also served as the President of the
Association of Philippine Coconut Desiccators. She was the owner representative
of Cardinal Ceramics, which counted the Metropolitan Museum of New York among
its customers. Rosanna was part of the early wave of investors who saw the
potential of business process outsourcing in the Philippines. She helped form
Ambergris Solutions, which quickly became one of the top three call centers in
the Philippines before its acquisition by Telus
Canada. She continues to sit as Chairman of the Telus
Community Board. Rosanna was also a Founder-Shareholder of Enderun
Colleges, Inc., one of the leading hospitality & culinary schools in the
Philippines. Rosanna is a recipient of Signum Meriti Medal of Saint Paul School
of Business and Law, Inc. for her exemplary achievements in the fields of
Business, Education, Tourism, Agribusiness and Property Development.
