Zohra Mutabanna, AICP is an urban
designer and city planner with over 16 years of experience in planning and
urban design projects in the North America and India. She has a Master of City
Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and specializes in the integrated
nature of transportation planning, land use planning and urban design. She has
been with IBI for over thirteen years, where she has worked on
inter-disciplinary projects involving master planning, transit-oriented
development, non-motorized transportation planning, streetscape design, and
public realm design. Her professional expertise lies in envisioning strategic
and design-based solutions to challenges associated with people,
transportation, and the public realm. She brings her values and passion to the
task allowing for rich, citizen-driven approaches that lead to context-specific
solutions. Through her experience with mapping, transportation simulation and
modelling, as well as transit technologies, she also brings a unique
understanding of the synergy between urban planning and “smart” technologies.
